Description	This image is a photograph used in the book Auburn, a Pictorial History of the Loveliest Village by Mickey Logue and Jack Simms, 1st edition, 1981, depicting the history of the city and the University. From page 100: The number of coeds almost doubled in 1922 and totaled sixty-seven, helping lead to the chartering of the first API sorority, Kappa Delta. The original initiates in 1922 were, left to right: Lysbeth Fullan, Kate Floyd, Camille Dowell, Anita Patterson, Emily Hare, Dorothy Anderson, and Lillian Sharpley. They were installed at the President's Mansion. One initiate, Camille Dowell, was the daughter of college President Spright Dowell. Later in the school year, a chapter of Chi Omega also was formed.
