This image is a photograph used in the book Auburn , a Pictorial History of the Loveliest Village by Mickey Logue and Jack Simms , 3rd edition , 2013 , depicting the history of the city and the University . From page 132-133 : Farm men and women gathered in front of Langdon Hall in August 1929 . The Auburn Alumnus said a record number attended Farmers ' Week events "to get practical information about their farm and home problems , and...get inspiration concerning a bigger and better rural life.
