Title	1910: Covered bridge over Chewacla Creek
Description	This image is a photograph used in the book Auburn, a Pictorial History of the Loveliest Village by Mickey Logue and Jack Simms, 3rd edition, 2013, depicting the history of the city and the university. From page 75: This was probably the second covered bridge built over Chewacla Creek, which flows in what became Chewacla State Park. The bridge was a good walk below the present Chewacla Lake dam. The first bridge had to be replaced because it was built too low and was damaged when flooded by heavy rains, according to history writer Peavy Wright. Chewacla Park was developed by the Civilian Conservation Corps--a Depression era government job-creating measure--in the late 1930s on land locally known as Wright's Mill.
