Description	This image is a photograph used in the book Auburn, a Pictorial History of the Loveliest Village by Mickey Logue and Jack Simms, 3rd edition, 2013, depicting the history of the city and the university. From page 327: Auburn has had bicycles on campus since the 1890s, including these parked in the early 1990s. It later was hoped the more bikes on campus, the fewer cars and traffic problems.... Before gas prices shot up in 2008, plans already included a network of bike paths, bike racks near major buildings, a bicycle-repair shop, new safety programs, and bike racks on campus buses.
