Description	This image is a photograph used in the book Auburn, a Pictorial History of the Loveliest Village by Mickey Logue and Jack Simms, 3rd edition, 2013, depicting the history of the city and the university. From page 72: Mules and wagons awaited their turns at the cotton gin at the southwest corner of the Glenn-Main (now College) intersection early in the twentieth century. To the right, across Glenn, was a blacksmith shop. The old gin closed sometime before 1920. It was replaced in the mid-twenties by a new gin on Opelika Road. Photo source: Auburn University Archives.
