Description	This image is a map of the state of Alabama, showing the geographical and political features in 1831. The map shows rivers, relief, roads, counties, cities, and towns. Relief is shown by pictorial drawings and some counties are highlighted by shading. The map also shows the boundaries and lands inhabited by the native Indians - Creek, Cherokee, Choctaw, and Chickasaw. The new boundary lines of the Creek and Cherokee Indian tribes, and the new boundary lines of the State of Alabama and State of Georgia are shown by dotted lines on the eastern side of the map. The map is photocopy of a printed copy and is encapsulated. The map is in good condition.
