My sweet sister
After spending
several days with you & your
Mothers "happy family", I have
just begun to feel how much you
all contributed to my happiness.
Even the sweet smile of little
Bessie, was pleasant. Really the
change is so great that it has
effected both my health & spirits.
Buddie has just walked in
with some medicine for me
& has taken a seat (in my room
for the purpose of interesting
me for an hour or two - in
such subjects as are interesting
to us both. What that is
you may well guess. He ne-
ver seems happier than when

engaged in conversation about
"his Mollie" If you are not
engaged tomorrow afternoon -
jump on [Jimmie Hazen ?] & ride
down to see me. Buddie will
return here from the ["Barbecue" ?]
& accompany you home.
But remember, you are
not to have a "three hours
tete a tete" until I can
have the pleasure of enjoying
a moonlight chat; with my
sweet cousin. Give him my
"double breasted affections"
And don't forget to make
Buddie pay you the debt
he owes you & with com-
pound interest. Hoping to
see you soon.
I remain
Your loving
"Sister Sal"
Wednesday, [Pike ?]
