Description	Eddie Rickenbacker with a group of men at a dinner held by the Beoing Aircraft Company at the 21 Club in New York City. Included in the group are W.A. Patterson, former president of United Airlines and C.R. Smith, former president of American Airlines. The Boeing Aircraft Company would fly the Dash 80 to Dulles International Airport near Washington, D.C. the next day, and donate it to the National Air and Space Museum. The Boeing Dash 80 jet transport prototype plane led to the development of the KC-135 Stratotanker and the 707.
