Description	This picture shows Eugene B. Sledge and some of his buddies from Company K-3-5, 1st Marine Division after either the battle of Peleliu or the battle of Okinawa in World War II. The men are showing off captured Japanese battle flags and weapons. Sledge fought with K-3-5 in both battles. He later wrote a book about his combat experience titled With the Old Breed at Peleliu and Okinawa.
