Title	1917: Construction of outdoor telescope
Description	These men were students at the Alabama Polytechnic Institute (now Auburn University) in 1914. They are shown here setting up a 7 foot outdoor telescope equipped with a photographic camera and driving mechanisms. The man with his hand on the telescope is likely Professor M. Thomas Fullen, who supervised its construction. Prof. Fullen was the Director of the Instrument Manufacture Section of the Society for Practical Astronomy. The men with him were the students who assisted in construction since it took six men to lift the telescope into place. They are (left to right): unknown, O. K. Seyforth, J. G. Sparks, J. J. Prosser, unknown, Professor Fullen, and A. T. Feaster. The two unknown men were likely G. O. Fulmer, F. S. McKissick, or E. D. Pamparos who are also credited with assisting construction.
