[page 1] the 6 Key West Fla September Dear Cusen it is with grate plazuer that I take my pen in hand to inform you of my helth it is not very good at the presant time but I hope this will find well and the best of helth you letter was dated August 13 I was glad to git A letter from you and to her that you was well and harty and tuff you sed that Granmother Varus was deade O that she was A Chrsten if she was she will be hapy you wanted I shud tell you worther I was in the Dor dance not so I will tell you the truth about it I was not their thay tride to have me gow but I told them that it wood be nothen but to fite Cherles H.
